Pakistan ready to receive $2 billion investment from Azerbaijan: PM
Prime Minister Shahbaz Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the nation after Stock Exchange surpassed 100,000 points today.
In a statement, the prime minister said that the government team and other authorities are commendable for crossing this milestone.
He said that this is a reflection of the confidence of the business community and investors on the government’s policies.
He added that the enemies of stability and development are making unsuccessful attempts to derail the country again, but he promised the nation that for the country’s economic stability and development, every effort will be made.
The prime pinister said that he sacrificed his politics to save Pakistan from default and with the grace of Allah the sacrifice was not in vain.
He said that he will continue to work hard for the development of the country. He said that he will not allow the enemies of national development and prosperity to succeed in their nefarious purposes.
It should be noted that Pakistan Stock Exchange saw a boom at the start of business today and the index crossed the 100,000 point mark with an increase of 790 points.
