Brutal terrorists targeted innocent children at Army Public School Peshawar 10 years ago, martyring 147 innocent people including students.
Dozens were also injured in the militants attack.
On December 6, 2014, six terrorists entered the Army Public School by jumping over the wall, armed with modern weapons and dressed in the uniforms of government officials. They fired indiscriminately on the students who were quenching their thirst for knowledge, martyring them.
The security forces immediately arrived and surrounded the APS and killed 6 suicide bombers of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan after a long operation. Nine security personnel including two officers were injured in the operation.
Six terrorists involved in the Army Public School attack were arrested by the security forces and sentenced to death by the military courts.
After the tragedy of the Army Public School, a National Action Plan was made and terrorism was eradicated from the tribal areas.
As a result of the tragedy of the Army Public School, where terrorism was eradicated from the country, the evil intentions of anti-knowledge elements were also destroyed.
