Govt eases winter dress code for school students

The Sindh education minister has issued instructions to relax the uniform code for students in schools in view of the cold wave across Sindh including Karachi.
Additional Director Rafia Javed Directorate of Private Institution has issued a formal letter to the private school in this regard.
The letter said that private schools should be relaxed about student uniforms during winters, cooperate with school children in anti-cold measures for the health of school children and provide warm clothes to students who want to wear them during cold days. It should be allowed.
Children can use sweaters, blazers, jackets, coats, hats, socks and shoes as per their need and convenience. This policy or relaxation is applicable throughout the winter season to protect children from cold.
The post further states that all possible measures should be taken to prevent cold even in school classes.
