Salman Ahmed’s basic PTI membership terminated for social media posts against Imran Khan

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has terminated the basic party membership of singer Salman Ahmed.

The singer’s basic membership was terminated for making social media posts against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar has issued a notification to terminate the basic membership of Salman Ahmed.

The notice said that Salman Ahmed kept creating discord among the party leadership and workers through his social media statements. He posted social media media against PTI founder Imran Khan and his family.

The notice further states that the party expresses indifference to Salman Ahmed’s statements and his primary membership of PTI is terminated and now he cannot use the PTI name in future.
