Karachi records coldest night of this winter season

Karachi has experienced the coldest night and morning of this winter last night as the minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degree Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 26 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature can be recorded at 7 degrees Celsius.

Due to icy winds in the city, the intensity of cold is felt 2 to 4 degrees higher than the actual temperature. North, northeast and northwest winds are likely to blow at a speed of 5 to 20 km per hour throughout the day.

Due to the freezing winds of Balochistan, the cold wave continues in Karachi while the weather will remain cold and dry during the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature of Karachi was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius on December 28.
