Punjab offers 1,000 internships: here’s how to apply

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has announced the launch of the Magnificent Punjab Internship Program under the Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums Department.

This initiative aims to provide paid internships to the educated youth of Punjab, offering them valuable skills and experience to succeed in today’s competitive job market.

The program, starting in March 2025, will offer 1,000 paid internships with a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000. The first batch of 250 interns will be selected, with the internships running for three months.

To be eligible, applicants must be aged between 21 and 28, have completed their degrees in relevant fields between January 2023 and December 2024, and hold 16 years of education from recognized institutions.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in areas such as Tourism & Hospitality Management, History, Archaeology, Business Administration, Marketing, and Information Technology (IT). The program will also help bridge the gap between education and industry by equipping graduates with the necessary skills for the modern workforce.

Applicants can apply online via the official website, mpip.punjab.gov.pk, before the February 5, 2025, deadline.

The program also lays out clear guidelines, including strict attendance rules and dress codes, ensuring professionalism throughout the internship.
