PTI invites Fazl to join anti-govt Grand Alliance

A delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf met with Maulana Fazlur Rehman in which PTI invited JUI-F to join the anti-government opposition grand alliance.

According to reports, a PTI delegation met Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence.

Leader of opposition Omar Ayub, Salman Akram Raja, Asad Qaiser, Hamid Raza and Akhunzada Yousafzai participated in the delegation.

In the meeting, Maulana Fazl was invited to participate in the opposition grand alliance. A committee was also formed between JUI-F and PTI, whose members will be Senator Kamran Murtaza and Asad Qaiser.

Talking to the media, Omar Ayub said that the government had promised to meet the PTI founder chairman, but they did not meet him in an “unmonitored” environment. The residence of Sahibzada Hamid Raza was raided.

PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja while talking to the media said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman was informed about the negotiations. We also told the JUI-F chief about the intention of the government. Reconstitution of the Election Commissioner is an important step. He also discussed with Maulana Fazlur Rahman about the appointment of Election Commissioner.

Maulana Fazlur Rahman listened to us attentively and the chances of advancement are high, he added.
