Pakistan ready to receive $2 billion investment from Azerbaijan: PM
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that we are ready to resume negotiations with PTI and let’s form a parliamentary committee and take things forward.
Speaking at the federal cabinet meeting, the prime minister said that for the negotiations with PTI, we accepted their offer and a committee was formed, then negotiations started through the speaker.
At the behest of the committee, the PTI wrote down the demands, which were to be answered in writing by the government committee, but a meeting was scheduled on 28th, which they refused to attend.
He said that it is not the right way to give respond black and white to the demands received in writing. Shahbaz said that after the 2018 election, when we entered the Parliament wearing black armbands in protest, Imran Niazi came forward and told me that we are forming a House Committee and it will investigate it. You also nominate your members in it.
The prime minister said that he replied to Imran Niazi that he should make an announcement, on which he made an announcement and later a committee was formed and a half meeting was also held. They should look their behaviour that they too did not form a judicial commission but a committee.
Shahbaz further said that he think they should come, sit, we are ready for the committee. The committee that was formed for the 2018 election should also do its work and a committee should be formed for the February 2024 election to bring the facts to light.
