Tayyip Erdogan offers help to flood-hit Pakistan in call with Shehbaz
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to arrive in Pakistan today for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.
He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including key ministers, senior officials, and corporate leaders.
During the visit, Erdogan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will co-chair the 7th session of the Pakistan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), the highest decision-making forum between the two nations.
The session is expected to conclude with a Joint Declaration and the signing of multiple agreements and MoUs.
Erdogan will also hold separate meetings with Prime Minister Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari.
Additionally, he will address the Pakistan-Turkey Business and Investment Forum, where key investors from both sides will explore economic opportunities.
The HLSCC covers diverse sectors, including trade, defense, energy, and education. The last session was held in Islamabad in 2020.
The visit is expected to bolster economic cooperation and enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries.
