Pakistan’s youth are future leaders, says Army chief

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir addressed university and college students from across Pakistan, emphasising the importance of academic excellence, skill development, and national unity.

During the interaction, General Munir encouraged students to focus on education and innovation, highlighting their role as the future leaders of Pakistan. He also discussed external challenges facing the country, particularly the threat of trans-border terrorism.

The Army Chief reiterated the Pakistan Army’s commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by the people in the fight against terrorism and expressed appreciation for their unwavering support of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies.

Emphasising national identity, General Munir urged students to embrace ‘Pakistaniat’ by understanding and preserving the country’s history, culture, and values. He praised the youth for their creativity and resilience, stressing their role in shaping Pakistan’s future.
