NADRA B-Form (CRC) Fee Update – February 2025

The Child Registration Certificate (CRC), also known as the B-Form, is an essential document issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for the registration of all minors and newly born children of Pakistani citizens.

It is the legal right of every child to be registered with NADRA, as the B-Form is necessary for various official procedures, including applying for a passport, sitting for board exams, and other government-related processes.

NADRA has streamlined the application process for obtaining the CRC by automating the procedure, making it more accessible and efficient for parents.

To acquire the B-Form, parents must provide proof of the child’s birth, such as a computerized birth certificate from the relevant union council. Additionally, at least one parent must hold a valid National Identity Card (NIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).

According to NADRA‘s regulations, parents must complete the registration of their newborns within three months of birth to ensure timely issuance of the B-Form.

Requirements for B-Form Registration:

• Parent’s ID card
• Proof of child’s birth
• Nikkah Nama (Marriage Certificate)

Application Process: To apply for the B-Form, parents must visit the nearest NADRA office, presenting the child’s computerized birth certificate along with one parent or a court-appointed guardian.

If both parents are present, one will act as the applicant, and the other will serve as the verifier. In cases where only one parent is present, a Gazetted Officer or a public representative (e.g., MNAs, MPAs, or municipal officials) must verify the application.

The child’s presence is mandatory for the registration process. For children aged 10 and above, both a photograph and fingerprints will be captured.

NADRA B-Form Fee for February 2025:

As of February 2025, there has been no change in the fee structure for the issuance of the B-Form. The regular fee for the CRC is Rs 50, while the expedited processing fee stands at Rs 500.
