Turkish President Erdogan reaches Pakistan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday for a two-day official visit, receiving a red carpet welcome upon his arrival at Nur Khan Airbase.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with senior federal ministers, welcomed the distinguished guest, reflecting the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations.
President Erdogan’s visit is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing multifaceted cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye.
During his stay, he will co-chair the 7th session of the Pakistan-Turkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC) alongside PM Shehbaz Sharif.

The session is expected to conclude with a joint declaration and the signing of multiple agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) covering trade, investment, defence, and cultural exchanges.
Turkish leader’s itinerary includes bilateral meetings with PM Shehbaz and President Asif Ali Zardari, as well as an address at the Pakistan-Turkiye Business and Investment Forum, where investors and corporate leaders from both nations will explore opportunities for economic collaboration.
A formal banquet will be hosted by President Zardari in Erdogan’s honor.
The visit, part of his regional tour, is expected to further solidify the longstanding strategic partnership between the two countries.
