Security forces kill 13 terrorists in different KP operations: ISPR
Security forces eliminated 13 militants in five separate operations conducted across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on February 12-13, 2025, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
An intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Khulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district following reports of militant presence. Security forces effectively engaged the targets, killing five militants, including a key figure identified as Shah Gul, also known as Rohani.
The ISPR said that, in two separate encounters in North Waziristan’s Dosali and Tappi areas, five more militants were neutralized after an exchange of fire with security forces.
Additionally, two militants were killed in an armed confrontation in Lakki Marwat district, while another was eliminated in the Bagh area of Khyber district.
Security personnel also recovered weapons and ammunition from the deceased militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple attacks against security forces and civilians, it added.
Following these operations, security forces launched a sanitization process in the affected areas to eliminate any remaining threats. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating terrorism and ensuring peace in the region.
