Schools Timings in Ramadan 2025 Announced

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the Sindh government has issued a notification to revise school timings during the holy month of Ramadan.

These changes will affect the schedules of schools in the province, with adjustments made to both primary and secondary education timings.

New School Timings for Primary Schools

As per the new notification, primary schools operating in double shifts will have the following schedule:

• First Shift: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
• Second Shift: 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM

Single-shift primary schools will function from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. On Fridays, the schedule for primary schools will be adjusted as follows:

• First double shift: 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Single shift: 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Second double shift: 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM

New School Timings for Secondary, Higher Secondary, and Elementary Schools

For secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools operating in double shifts, the schedule will be as follows:

• First Shift: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
• Second Shift: 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM

Single-shift schools in these categories will operate from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. On Fridays, the adjusted timings are:

• First double shift: 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Single shift: 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM
• Second double shift: 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM
