Pakistani networks face serious threats from cyber security and VPN access companies
Pakistani networks are threatened by companies providing cyber security and access to the use of VPNs.
Flaws have been identified in cybersecurity provider Palo Alto’s networks and company SonicWall, which provides access to the use of VPNs.
The National Cyber Emergency Response Team has issued an advisory alert to ministries, divisions and enterprises about the risks, in view of the threats concerned that attackers may have access to the networks used by companies.
According to the advisory, weaknesses have been identified in the web management interface of Palo Alto networks, there can be serious risks to companies using Palo Alto and Sonic Wall, and weaknesses in the networks can lead to unauthorized access, attackers can access the system without any login or permission.
The advisory warned that data of organizations that do not take security measures can be stolen, if there are no security measures, organizations may lose control over network security devices.
