Security forces kill 10 terrorists in Khyber IBO: ISPR

On the night of February 23/24, 2025, Pakistan’s security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Bagh, Khyber District, following reports of Khwarij militants in the area.

During the operation, troops engaged the suspected militants, resulting in the neutralization of ten individuals. Security officials confirmed that the engagement was carried out after receiving actionable intelligence regarding the presence of the group.

Following the initial encounter, clearance operations have been initiated in the area to locate and eliminate any remaining threats.

The security forces are undertaking these measures as part of a broader effort to counter terrorism and ensure regional stability. Local authorities have urged residents to cooperate with the ongoing sanitization process as the operation continues.
