Drug case: Accused Sahir Hassan sent to jail on judicial remand

A local court has sent Sahir Hassan, arrested on charges of drug trafficking, to jail on judicial remand.

The hearing of the drug case was held at the Judicial Complex in Karachi, where the SIU police presented the accused, Sahir Hassan, in the court.

During the hearing, the investigating officer said that the investigation of the accused has not been completed, so the physical remand should be extended for five days, while the defence lawyer opposed the physical remand of the accused.

After the hearing, the court rejected the request to extend the physical remand of the SIU investigating officer and sent the accused Sahir Hassan to jail on judicial remand.

The court also sought a challan of the case from the investigating officer on the next hearing.
