Punjab announces new school timings for Ramadan 2025

The Punjab Education Department has released new school timings for Ramadan to accommodate students and staff during the holy month.

Revised Timings for Schools

According to the official notification:

• Single-shift schools will operate from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and until 12:30 PM on Fridays.
• Double-shift schools will have the first shift ending at 12:30 PM from Monday to Thursday. The second shift will run from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. On Fridays, the second shift will start at 2:30 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM.
• Female students will be allowed to leave 15 minutes earlier than male students.

These updated school hours will be implemented across Punjab to ensure a smooth transition for students and teachers during Ramadan.
