Ruet-e-Hilal committee to meet today for sighting of Ramazan moon

A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held in Peshawar today to sight the moon of Ramazan.
The meeting will begin at 6.30 pm under the chairmanship of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
The meeting will also be attended by officials of SUPARCO and Meteorological Department, besides other central members and clerics.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, will be partly cloudy during the next 24 hours, due to which the chances of seeing the moon of Ramazan tomorrow are low.
It said the age of the moon at sunset will be about 12 hours and 45 minutes.
