Met office issues new rain spell warning

Islamabad, Rawalpindi weather update: More intermittent rains & hailstorms expected
The Pakistan Metrological Department on Saturday forecast new spell of rains in western parts of country starting from March 02.
According to the met office, Rains are expected in Balochistan’s Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Mastung, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Chagai, Noushki, Kharan, Kalat, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Harnai, Zhob and Sherani on 02nd and 03rd of the month, under the influence of the weather system.
Moreover, showers and snowfall are also expected in part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Chitral, Dir, Swat, Peshawar and other districts, Murree, Galliyat, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from 02nd to 04th March.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Lahore and other districts in Punjab are also expected to receive rain, said the met office.
It also forecast rain in Bhakkar, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur and other districts of south Punjab.
For Sindh, Larkana and Sukkur districts likely to receive rainfall in a couple of days, it added.
Moderate to few heavy snowfalls may cause road closure/slippery conditions in Murree, Galliyat, Naran, Kaghan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, in GB’s Astore, Hunza, Skardu, and Kashmir’s Neelum valley, Bagh, Poonch, Haveli during forecast period.
