When Will Eidul Fitr 2025 Holidays Begin?
Astro experts predict that Ramadan 2025 will last for 29 days, with Eidul Fitr expected to fall on Monday, March 31. If this forecast is accurate, Pakistanis will celebrate Eid for three days, from Monday to Wednesday.
Since the weekend falls on March 29 and 30 (Saturday and Sunday), it would create a long five-day holiday period for many.
What If Ramadan Lasts 30 Days?
If Ramadan completes 30 days, Eid holidays might be extended by an additional day, granting government employees up to six days off.

According to astronomical data, the Shawwal crescent is expected to be visible on the evening of Sunday, March 30. The new moon will be born on Saturday, March 29, and by Sunday evening, it will be over 26 hours old, meeting the necessary conditions for sighting.
However, the final announcement regarding Eidul Fitr 2025 will be made by Ruet-e-Hilal Committee at the end of the month.
