How long will the heat intensity persist in Karachi?

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the intensity of heat in the city may continue till Wednesday, while the current hot weather will start decreasing from Thursday.
Meteorological Department spokesman Anjum Nazir Zaigham said in a statement that the hot weather was caused due to the pressure prevailing over Indian Rajasthan and nearby areas. Due to the pressure, the sea winds are suspended and northwesterly and northeast winds are blowing.
He said that the pressure on Rajasthan is gradually decreasing. At present a high pressure is forming in the Arabian Sea, which is far away from Karachi.
The meteorological department spokesman further said that due to the strong winds above normal, the temperature will come down again to 33 to 34 degrees.
