This major Karachi bridge closed for traffic from today

Karachi’s Jam Sadiq Bridge connecting Korangi Industrial Area with the city has been closed for all types of traffic.

Karachi’s famous Jam Sadiq Bridge has been closed for traffic from 7 am to 2 pm from today to March 17.

The decision is aimed at completing the ongoing construction work on the bridge, due to which all types of traffic movement will remain suspended.

Traffic police sources said that traffic from Akhtar Colony to Korangi Industrial Area will be diverted to Brooks Chowrangi through Korangi Causeway and SM Munir Road.

Similarly, traffic from Korangi Industrial Area to Mahmoodabad will be diverted from Brooks Chowrangi towards Sarjan Faiz Mohammad Khan Road.

Traffic police have requested citizens to use alternative routes during this time so that they do not face any kind of difficulties.

In addition, additional measures will be taken by the traffic police to provide comprehensive guidance to the citizens.
