Pakistan, Russia conduct bilateral naval exercise ‘Arabian Monsoon VI’

The Pakistan Navy and the Russian Navy successfully conducted the bilateral naval exercise Arabian Monsoon VI in the Arabian Sea, aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation and addressing maritime security challenges.
The exercise featured Russian naval vessels alongside various assets of the Pakistan Navy and fighter aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the primary objective was to strengthen collaboration and demonstrate a collective commitment to countering shared maritime threats.
During the Russian naval fleet’s stay in Karachi, both sides engaged in a series of professional interactions, including ship visits, harbor drills, and tabletop discussions. Additionally, Russian naval delegates met with senior officials of the Pakistan Navy to discuss avenues for further cooperation.
The joint naval exercises underscore the Pakistan Navy’s dedication to regional maritime security and its commitment to fostering international partnerships for enhanced operational readiness.
