Armaghan’s father Kamran Qureshi issues statement after arrest
Kamran Qureshi, the father of suspect Armaghan, has issued a statement following his arrest in the Mustafa Aamir murder case.
Speaking to the media, Qureshi stated that he had been handling the case in his own way, while the media was portraying it differently.
“If my behavior has hurt anyone, I sincerely apologize,” he added.
Qureshi’s arrest comes amid ongoing investigations into the high-profile murder case, which has drawn significant public and media attention.
Earlier, the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) has arrested Kamran Qureshi, father of Armaghan, the main accused in the Mustafa Amir murder case.
According to SSP AVCC Anil Haider, police arrested a drug dealer in Street 7, Bungalow No. 35, Khayaban Momin Phase 5, Gujari Karachi on a tip-off.
He said the arrested accused has been identified as Kamran Asghar Qureshi, the father of Armaghan, the main accused in the Mustafa murder case.
Haider said that a case has been registered against the arrested accused under the Control of Narcotics Substances Act and possession of unlicensed weapons and investigation is underway.
It may be recalled that Mustafa Amir was abducted on January 6 and then a month later on February 8, the police raided a bungalow in Defence Khayaban Momin area of Karachi to recover Mustafa Amir, during which they were fired upon. As a result, three policemen, including DSP, were injured in the encounter.
