Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed passes away.
According to his son Munir Ahmed, the JUI-F leader was suffering from kidney disease for a long time.
He said that the funeral and burial of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed will be announced later.
The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam also announced the death of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed from its official Facebook account.
Hafiz Hussain Ahmed has also been a senator and member of the National Assembly.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed grief over the death of senior politician Hafiz Hussain Ahmed. He added that with the death of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, a chapter of beautiful memories has ended.
