Pakistan Passport Age Modification: Latest Fee & Process Update – March 2025
Pakistani passport holders can apply for date of birth modification on their travel documents, provided they submit valid supporting evidence and required documents. The government of Pakistan issues passports to its citizens to facilitate international travel while ensuring their protection through diplomatic missions worldwide.
Steps to Modify Date of Birth on a Passport
Individuals seeking to correct their date of birth must first update their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
After making the necessary corrections, they can visit the passport office with the required documents to apply for a revised passport.
In cases where there is uncertainty regarding the applicant’s age, passport authorities may request additional documentary proof, such as a birth certificate issued by municipal authorities or a matriculation certificate from a recognized education board or university.
Fee Structure for Age Modification on Passport
Since modifying personal details requires the issuance of a new passport, applicants must pay the standard passport fee based on their chosen validity period.
Passport Age ModificationPakistani passports are issued with two validity options: five years and ten years. The updated fee structure is as follows:
Five-Year Validity Passport:
- Normal (36 pages): Rs. 4,500
- Urgent (36 pages): Rs. 7,500
- Normal (72 pages): Rs. 8,200
- Urgent (72 pages): Rs. 13,500
- Normal (100 pages): Rs. 9,000
- Urgent (100 pages): Rs. 18,000
Once the CNIC/NICOP has been updated, applicants must apply for a new passport under the above fee structure. The process ensures accuracy in official records and prevents travel complications.
