‘Pakistan has taken notice of journalists’ alleged visit to Israel’

The government has taken notice of reports of Pakistani journalists’ alleged visit to Israel.

Foreign Office spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan responded to questions on the visit of Pakistani journalists to Israel and said that the government has taken notice of such reports.

He said that it is written on the passport that it is ‘not usable to travel to Israel’, under the current laws, it is not possible to visit Israel on the passport.

Shafqat Ali Khan said that Pakistan’s stance on Israel has not changed as Islamabad does not recognize Tel Aviv. He said that Pakistan extends unwaveringly support to the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

These rights include the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with pre-border borders since 1967 and al-Quds al-Sharif its capital, he said.

He further said Pakistan reiterates its unwavering commitment to a just solution to the Palestinian issue.
