AIOU Extends Admission Deadline for Matric, FA, and BS Programs

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced an extension for admissions in multiple programs to accommodate students during the holy month of Ramazan.

Following numerous student requests, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood approved the extension, as stated in a press release issued on Thursday. The new deadline for enrollment is now set for April 10, 2025.

Aspiring students can now apply for Matric, FA, Associate Degree, B.Ed, BS, BBA, Postgraduate Diploma courses, and various certificate programs with a late fee until the revised deadline. This extension is also applicable to continuing students who have yet to complete their enrollment.

According to Director Admissions Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain, admissions for face-to-face programs offered in the Spring 2025 semester have been completed for both new and returning students, and no further enrollments will be accepted for these courses.

However, the admissions remain open for distance learning programs under AIOU’s flexible learning system. Students are encouraged to complete their registration promptly to avoid any disruptions in their academic journey.
