Petrol price drop in Pakistan – Check expected rates from April 16
There’s good news for the people of Pakistan this Eidul Fitr! Fuel prices are expected to come down starting April 1, 2025, thanks to a decrease in international oil prices.
Sources suggest that petrol may become cheaper by Rs3 to Rs3.50 per litre, while diesel could see a cut of around Rs3 per litre. Although these are not official figures yet, the final decision will be made by the Finance Minister. The government plans to offer this relief as a gift to the public for Eid.
Pakistan reviews fuel prices every two weeks, based on international oil rates, the exchange rate, and local taxes.
