Police register case against 10-year-old student in Daharki

Police in Daharki have registered a case against a 10-year-old student, identified as Faraz Laghari, under charges of issuing threats.

The case was filed at the City Court Police Station.

Following the registration of the case, Faraz Laghari reached Daharki Press Club to protest against the police action.

Speaking to the media, he expressed distress, stating that his ongoing school examinations have been affected as he is afraid to attend classes.

Faraz, a sixth-grade student, claimed that the complaint was lodged by his cousin, Afaq Laghari, due to a family dispute involving their uncle’s church property.

He further alleged that his uncle, a retired police officer, has been oppressing their family for a long time.

The young student has urged Sindh Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon to take notice of the situation and ensure justice.
