Chand Raat & Eid Traffic Plan: Here’s What You Need to Know
Rawalpindi City Traffic Police has announced a special traffic management plan for Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr, deploying 646 personnel across the city to ensure smooth traffic flow.
According to a police spokesperson, the deployment includes 10 DSPs, 138 inspectors, 498 traffic wardens, and traffic assistants who will be stationed at key locations.
Special traffic arrangements will be in place at busy markets, shopping malls, and main roads on Chand Raat to manage the anticipated rush.
On Eid day, traffic police will be deployed around mosques, imambargahs, parks, and other key locations where Eid prayers will be offered. Additionally, over 52 officers and traffic personnel have been assigned duties at various public parks to facilitate visitors.
For security purposes, authorities will keep a strict check on vehicles with tinted windows and unregistered cars. The traffic police urged citizens to cooperate with officials and follow traffic guidelines to ensure a safe and hassle-free Eid experience.
