SSGC ensures uninterrupted gas supply for Karachi during Eid

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has released its Eid ul Fitr gas supply schedule, assuring uninterrupted supply at full pressure across Karachi during the festive period.
According to an SSGC spokesperson, all gas valves will remain fully operational throughout the three-day Eid celebration, with supply available until midnight each day, including Chand Raat.
Residents experiencing any supply issues have been advised to contact the SSGC helpline at 1199.
Earlier, ahead of Ramadan, the gas utility had announced uninterrupted gas supply during Sehri and Iftar hours. During the holy month, gas was provided between 3:00 AM and 9:00 AM for Sehri and from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM for Iftar preparations.
Pakistan is expected to observe Eid ul Fitr on Monday (March 31), as several countries, including Saudi Arabia, are celebrating the festival today. Astronomical predictions indicate that the Shawwal moon will be visible on March 30.
