Terrorism Is Unforgivable and Has No Justification: Rana Sanaullah

31 March, 2025 10:57

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has reaffirmed the government’s firm stance against terrorism, declaring that terrorism cannot be forgiven under any circumstances and that there is no justification for such acts.

In a recent statement, Sanaullah strongly condemned terrorist activities, emphasizing that the bloodshed of innocent civilians is unacceptable. He pointed out that Pakistan continues to face the challenge of terrorism, which is being imposed on the nation.

He expressed confidence in the government’s determination to combat these adversities, assuring that efforts are actively being made to restore peace and security across the country.

Sanaullah further stated that any form of indirect support for terrorists is completely unacceptable. He warned against making statements that could be misinterpreted as support for terrorism, stressing that such narratives should not be allowed to take root.

Alongside addressing security concerns, Sanaullah highlighted the government’s success in steering the country out of a financial crisis. He reassured citizens that Pakistan is on a path to stability and development, with policies in place to ensure economic progress.

Consensus on the Canal Project

Regarding the controversial canal project, Sanaullah clarified that the issue is not greater than the unity of the federation. He revealed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto recently discussed the matter, with the Prime Minister assuring that the issue would be resolved through consensus.

He also noted that certain elements in Sindh have politicized the project, comparing it to the historical politicization of the Kalabagh Dam.

Sanaullah urged the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to respond decisively, ensuring that no political agendas disrupt national unity.
