Lahore schools summer timings after Eid 2025

The Punjab government has announced new school timings for Lahore, which will take effect from April 7, 2025, after the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. These timings will remain until October 15 to help students cope with the summer heat.

Lahore School New Timings

• Single-shift schools will operate from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, while on Fridays, they will close earlier at 12:00 PM.

• Double-shift schools will have their first shift from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, ending at 12:00 PM on Fridays. The second shift will run from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, except on Fridays when it will start at 2:30 PM.

Punjab Eid Holiday for Schools

Schools will be closed for Eid from March 28 to April 6, reopening on April 7. Meanwhile, annual exam results will be announced on April 4. The break will allow students and teachers to rest before the new academic year starts.

Additionally, the Punjab Higher Education Department has declared Eid holidays for colleges from March 28 to April 2, during which both public and private institutions will remain closed.
