Process of sending Afghan refugees back begins today as deadline expires

After the deadline for the voluntary return of Afghan refugees ends, the process of sending them back is being started from today.
According to sources in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa home department, the deadline for voluntary return of Afghan refugees has expired on March 31.
They said that the process of sending back Afghan refugees is being started from April 1 (today).
They added that since 2013, 6.5 million Afghan refugees have been sent back to Afghanistan through the Torkham border.
Earlier, Pakistan has rejected the Afghan Taliban’s request for an extension in the stay of Afghan refugees in the country.
