Hot, dry weather to persist in Karachi: Met Office

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 38 to 40 degrees Celsius today as Karachi has been reeling under intense heat wave conditions for the past few days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.9 degrees Celsius yesterday and the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius today.

The weather will remain hot and dry during the next 24 hours.

Winds with speed reaching 10-35 kmph gusting to 10-35 kmph are likely in the city from westerly and southwesterly directions today.
