The federal government has decided to deploy the Pakistan Army and Civil Armed Forces for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Ministry of Interior has issued orders under the decision of the federal cabinet; the deployment of the Pakistan Army will be under Article 245 of the Constitution and for security and protection duties.
According to sources, the Cabinet Division, provincial governments, and the Chief Commissioner Islamabad had requested the federal government for the deployment of the Pakistan Army; the deployment of civil armed forces will be done under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.
Sources further revealed that the Pakistan Army and Civil Armed Forces will also be deployed for the Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2025.
It should be noted that the tenth edition of the PSL will start on April 11, 2025, in which six teams will participate.
Earlier, Gulberg Main Boulevard and Liberty Market Chowk in Lahore have been decorated with the names of PSL teams.
Apart from this, the giant PSL X is also the center of attention of the fans. On the main Boulevard, the atmosphere is lit up with colors.
A large number of citizens have been making pictures with these decorations.
This year’s Pakistan Super League season 10 will start from April 11, this event will be held in Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi till May 18.
