PTI calls parliamentary party meeting on April 7

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has summoned a parliamentary party meeting on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 3 p.m.

In this regard, the meeting will be held at Parliament House, and the parliamentary party meeting will be chaired by PTI veteran leader Zartaj Gul in the opposition lobby.

It should be noted that the meeting will formulate a strategy regarding participation in the National Assembly session.

On the other hand ,The National Assembly  session will be held at 5 pm on Monday under the chairmanship of Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, a 12-point agenda has been issued, and amendment ordinances and bills on various issues will be presented.

According to the report, a notice calling attention to the issue of women being given a share in inherited property will be presented in the meeting, while the Society Registration Amendment Ordinance 2024 is also on the agenda.

As per the ongoing agenda, the Federal Minister for Education will present the Federal Education Board Amendment Bill 2024 in the House, while the meeting will also seek approval for the Special Technology Zone Authority Amendment Bill 2025.

Furthermore, the NA agenda, the National Human Rights Commission’s report for the years 2023 and 2024, will also be presented in the session.

Earlier, the federal government has decided to deploy the Pakistan Army and Civil Armed Forces for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The Ministry of Interior has issued orders under the decision of the federal cabinet; the deployment of the Pakistan Army will be under Article 245 of the Constitution and for security and protection duties.

According to sources, the Cabinet Division, provincial governments, and the Chief Commissioner Islamabad had requested the federal government for the deployment of the Pakistan Army; the deployment of civil armed forces will be done under the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997.
