FIA summons PTI leaders
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued notices to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders for allegedly spreading chaos on social media.
According to GTV News, the Federal Investigation Agency has issued summonses to Hammad Azhar, Rauf Hassan, and Shibli Faraz on charges of spreading chaos and inciting people on social media.
In this regard, PTI leaders Alia Hamza and Arsalan Khalid have also been summoned.
However, PTI leaders have been instructed to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) at 11 am tomorrow, while all leaders have been instructed to bring the necessary documents with them.
Earlier, On night 6/7 April 2025, an intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in general area Takwara, Dera Ismail Khan District on reported presence of khawarij.
During the operation, troops effectively engaged the khawarij location and after an intense fire exchange, nine khawarij including HVT, Khawarji ring leader Shireen were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed khawarij.
Khawarji ring leader Shireen was highly wanted by the law enforcement agencies due to his involvement in numerous terrorist activities, and besides being involved in target killing of numerous innocent civilians. He was also responsible for Shahadat of Captain Hasnain Akhtar, martyred on 20 March 2025.
Today’s operation has avenged the heinous act and has brought the main perpetrator to the justice.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other khawarji found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
