How to Apply for CM Punjab Asaan Karobar Card – Complete Guide

The Punjab Government has officially ended the online application process for the CM Punjab Asaan Karobar Card, a specialized initiative for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to obtain interest-free loans.

This program was launched on the direction of the Chief Minister to create an environment to foster entrepreneurship and self-employment throughout the province.

The application process existed on the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) website. Citizens could apply by entering their CNIC and mobile number, paying a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500, and submitting information concerning their personal and business.

Under this plan, eligible applicants can qualify for interest-free loans of as much as Rs. 1 million. You’ll pay back the loan over three years, inclusive of a three-month grace period and a 12-month revolving credit option. The loan can be used for business purposes, such as paying suppliers, paying utility bills, or purchasing equipment.

The last date to apply was March 31, 2025, and no extension was provided. Before the deadline, thousands of people in Punjab managed to complete the registration successfully. The initiative is currently in the process of review and disbursement.

Only those between the ages of 21 and 57, with a clean credit record, living in Punjab, and listed as tax filers, were allowed to apply. Additionally, their enterprise must be operated from Punjab.

For updates or questions, applicants can call the helpline at 1786, which is open for queries about application status, required documents, and loan procedures. This initiative comes as part of Punjab’s larger youth and small trader initiative. The application window is closed, but the government may potentially reopen in a few months for a second round.
