Traffic Plan for PSL-10 Matches – Check Here

In anticipation of the Pakistan Super League-10 (PSL-10) matches, the Rawalpindi Traffic Police announced a robust plan to manage traffic around the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The matches will take place on April 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, as well as May 7, 8, 10 and 13 of the 2025 season.A number of alternative and diversion routes would be employed as part of the traffic management plan in and around the stadium to manage the heavy traffic during the matches.

Other aspects of the plan, include multiple parking places, along with some road closures and access restrictions in the immediate area.

Key details of the plan include:

  • Club Road: All traffic will be rerouted to Srinagar Highway via Serena Chowk.
  • Murree Road (Faizabad to Double Road): This portion of Murree Road will close for team movements on April 13th and May 17th at 17 PM until 23 PM. On days with two matches scheduled, the restriction will take effect at 11 AM and remain until 11 PM.
  • Islamabad to Rawalpindi: Vehicles will be diverted from Faizabad to the Expressway.
  • Rawalpindi to Islamabad: All traffic will be rerouted through 6th Road Chowk on Saidpur Road.
  • 9th Avenue Travelers: Travelers will be diverted to IJP Road.Stadium Road, The section between 9th Avenue Chowk and Double Road will be closed during match hours.
Furthermore, the Metro Bus service will also be in operation, although three stations—Rehmanabad, Khatam-e-Nabuwat, and Faizabad—will be temporarily closed during the match hours for security reasons.
Considering the anticipated traffic issues, authorities are strongly advising the public to utilize public transportation to avoid delays in and around match days.
