PM officially visits Belarus for two days

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has officially arrived in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, at the invitation of the President of Belarus for 2 days, accompanied by Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The Prime Minister was welcomed at Minsk International Airport by Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin and officials from the Pakistani Embassy in Belarus, while officials from the Pakistani Embassy in Belarus were also present at the airport to welcome the Prime Minister. During the visit, several agreements will be signed between the two countries.

The Prime Minister’s visit is a reflection of the strong and continuous partnership between Belarus and Pakistan.

According to party sources, Punjab Chief Minister (CM)  Maryam Nawaz has also left with him. Apart from them, senior provincial ministers Maryam Aurangzeb, Hassan Nawaz, Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman have also left for Belarus, while Nawaz Sharif’s personal physician Dr. Adnan is also part of the delegation going to Belarus.

Moreover, It should be noted that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is paying an official visit to Belarus from April 10 to 11, 2025, at the invitation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

On the other hand, the Sindh Chief Minister (CM), Syed Murad Ali Shah, has conveyed heartfelt congratulations on winning the final of the Under-23 World Squash Championship in Karachi.

In this regard, the CM said that the competition was very interesting; it was a great pleasure to watch.

However, Noor Zaman has played with great skill and brought a title to his name.

On the other hand, Pakistan Squash twinkling youngster Noor Zaman has defeated Egypt’s Kareem El Torkey  in Under-23 World Squash Championship in a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory on Thursday.

The final, held at the elite DHA Creek Club in Karachi, was a display of resilience, determination, and skill by the 21-year-old from Peshawar, who overcame a difficult start to win the coveted title.
