Islamabad’s First Modern Adventure Park Set to Open Soon – Check Ticket Prices
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to develop Islamabad’s first-ever modern adventure park, marking a major step toward enhancing recreational facilities and promoting tourism in the federal capital.
The decision was finalized during a high-level meeting chaired by Secretary Interior Mohammad Khurram Agha. CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa, along with the Member Environment and other key officials, attended the session. The proposal to establish an “Adventure City Park” at a suitable location in the capital was discussed in detail.
While the exact site is yet to be finalized, sources suggest that the park may be built near Lake View Park, a prime area already known for leisure activities.
According to a press release, CDA is prioritizing tourism development in Islamabad, dedicating all necessary resources to this goal. The proposed Adventure City Park will feature pedestrian walkways, cycling tracks, and a complete set of eco-friendly and recreational infrastructure. Meeting participants highlighted Islamabad’s strong potential for tourism-related investments.
Chairman Randhawa emphasized the authority’s efforts to beautify city parks through sustainable tree plantation and soft landscaping. He shared that the Adventure City project is being planned to offer world-class entertainment and leisure services for residents and tourists alike.
He further stressed that the project will be executed using financially and operationally viable strategies. To ensure environmental protection, a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) will be established adjacent to the park.
The board has also directed that state-of-the-art recreational features be incorporated into the project to elevate Islamabad’s position as a global tourist destination. Chairman Randhawa reaffirmed the CDA’s dedication to advancing the city’s development and providing high-quality recreational spaces, expressing his firm commitment to transforming Islamabad into one of the world’s most vibrant and tourist-friendly cities.
