JI holding Gaza Solidarity March today in Karachi

Jamaat-e-Islami is organising the Gaza Solidarity March today on Karachi’s Shahrah-e-Faisal. 

The march will commence at 4 PM on Shahrah-e-Faisal to protest against Israeli aggression and to show support for the Palestinian people. Participants from all districts of Karachi will join the event, arriving at Shahrah-e-Faisal in caravans.

Prior to the main march, a rally will be held from Baloch Colony Bridge to the central venue on Shahrah-e-Faisal, led by Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Amee Munem Zafar Khan.

For the event, one side of Shahrah-e-Faisal has been designated for women, and the other for men.

The keynote address at the Gaza Solidarity March will be delivered by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman.

Munem Zafar Khan has urged the citizens of Karachi to join the march in large numbers to show unity and support for Palestine.

Traffic plan

In anticipation of the Gaza Million March, Karachi Traffic Police have released a traffic plan and advised citizens to use alternate routes to avoid disruptions.

Travelers heading to the airport from FTC are advised to take Korangi Road or go through Sindhi Muslim to Allah Wali Chowk and continue via University Road. Those coming from the airport toward Saddar should use Drigh Road and then Rashid Minhas Road.

Commuters from Karsaz can use the Expressway via Baloch Colony Bridge.

Traffic Police have called for public cooperation to help maintain law and order and ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the event.
