FIA uncovers links to international fraud network on Armaghan’s laptop

14 April, 2025 16:50

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) submitted an investigative report in Karachi’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) concerning Armaghan, the prime suspect in the Mustafa Aamir murder case.

According to the FIA report, Armaghan’s laptop revealed links to an international fraud network. The report alleges that Armaghan, along with his father Kamran Qureshi, established a company involved in fraudulent operations.

The FIA disclosed that the company generates an estimated annual income of $300,000 to $400,000 and employs 25 agents to carry out its activities. Investigators also stated that Armaghan used an unidentified employee, Afnan, to purchase luxury vehicles valued at 154 million Pakistani rupees.

Despite Kamran Qureshi being listed as a co-owner of the company, the FIA has not named him as a suspect. Similarly, Afnan has neither been listed as an accused nor as a witness in the case.

Armaghan remains in custody and is currently on remand in connection with four different cases, including charges related to money laundering. The FIA is scheduled to present him in court again tomorrow.
