NADRA NICOP age change fees updated for 2025

NADRA provides the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) to those who live or are planning to go abroad for work, studies, or other reasons.

If you have a Smart NICOP, you can travel to Pakistan without needing a visa.

Sometimes, people need to update their NICOP, such as changing their age, address, or other details. This can be done using the Pak ID app, by visiting a NADRA office, or by going to the nearest Pakistani embassy.

Documents Needed for Age Correction

Depending on how much you want to change your age, you’ll need different documents:

For age change up to 5 years (allowed only once)

• Valid Pakistani passport
• OR Matric certificate / marksheet (issued within last 3 years)
• OR Government service book

For age change more than 5 years (allowed only once)

• Valid foreign documents like passport, resident/work permit, green card, etc.

For second-time age change (up to 366 days only)

• Valid Pakistani or foreign passport, resident permit, or matric certificate

For age change of 1 year (366 days)

• Birth certificate (from Pakistan or abroad)

If there’s an unnatural age gap with a sibling (less than 7 months apart)

• You can request a change of up to 1 year without any documents

NICOP Age Modification Fee

The cost of age correction depends on how many years you want to change:

• Up to 1 year: $5
• More than 1 year, up to 2 years: $25
• More than 2 years, up to 3 years: $40
• More than 3 years: $65
• Second-time change: $125
