Pakistan hosts 8th Army Team Spirit Exercise

The 8th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit Exercise-2025 began with a ceremony at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi. Director General Military Training launched the 60-hour Patrolling Exercise, which aims to improve military-to-military collaboration in a difficult international security context.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a total of 20 friendly countries, including military observers, are participating in the event. Pakistan, Bahrain, Belarus, China, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, Morocco, Nepal, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Turkiye, the United States of America, and Uzbekistan are among those taking part, along with Bangladesh, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Kenya, Myanmar, South Africa, and Thailand.

Pakistan Army Team Spirit is a mission specific and task oriented professional military exercise organized annually in Pakistan. The exercise calls for highest standard of physical fitness, mental agility/ robustness and professional military expertise for quick decision making in varied situation during conduct of challenging missions in near real environment.

The goal and objectives of this activity concentrate around perseverance, which is demonstrated through teamwork. Aside from interoperability, the exercise would assist polish basic soldierly characteristics through the exchange of new ideas and reciprocal best practices.

On the other hand, Opening Ceremony of 3rd Pak – Morocco Joint Bilateral Military Exercise – 2025 was held between the Armies of Pakistan and Morocco in Counter Terrorism domain at Special Operations School, Cherat. Special Services Group of Pak Army and Special Forces of Moroccan Army are participating in the Exercise.

Commandant Special Operation School, Cherat graced the ceremony as Chief Guest.

The Exercise is aimed at refining professional skills through joint training and harnessing historic military to military relations among the friendly countries. Participating troops are looking forward to benefit from mutual expertise/ experience.

Earlier, a delegation from the United States Congress, led by Honourable Jack Bergman, Honourable Thomas Souzzi, and Honourable Jonathan Jackson, met with General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) on Sunday.
