CII Chairman urges economic boycott of Israel without harming assets

Islamabad: Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), Allama Raghib Naeemi, says that it is necessary to economically boycott Israeli products and companies, but the lives, property and wealth of ordinary citizens should not be harmed in the economic boycott.

In a statement, Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council said that we condemn Israel’s criminal actions. It is necessary to play our role to the best of our ability in stopping these criminal actions.

Dr. Naeemi further noted that nearly 80 percent of Gaza has been reduced to rubble.

Furthermore,, the city is currently under a total blockade, with the supply of food, medicine, and essential items halted, while the power infrastructure has been almost entirely destroyed.

Earlier, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the rulers of the Islamic world are playing the role of American puppets and the Muslim Ummah must stand up for Gaza.

According to details, a “Death to Israel” march was held in Karachi, organized by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), in which a large number of people participated.

Addressing the participants of the Israel Dead March, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Israel has occupied the holy land and is committing genocide against the oppressed Palestinian Muslims; now is the time to unite against Israeli atrocities. The Muslim Ummah should stand up for the oppressed Muslims of Gaza without caring about its rulers.

He stated that when Israel was created, the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam, called it the illegitimate child of Britain. Those who were creating an atmosphere to recognize Israel, we rejected their ideology. If anyone is thinking of recognizing Israel, then get it out of their mind. We will not recognize Israel at anyone’s request.

He said that the first Israeli president had said that the elimination of the newborn Islamic state (Pakistan) is part of foreign policy, and even today the Israeli prime minister calls Pakistan the biggest threat. The Zionist forces are shaking due to the slogan of Takbir of Pakistanis: halls of power can be bought, but we don’t hold the halls — we hold the streets. Now, serving Israel, America, and Europe won’t work anymore. Everyone must respect the feelings of the people.”
