UAE, Pakistan sign key MoUs to boost bilateral cooperation

Islamabad: Emirati Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed visited the Foreign Office and met with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed arrived at the Foreign Office, where he was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

On this occasion, a signing ceremony of memorandums of understanding between Pakistan and the UAE was held, in which a memorandum of cultural cooperation was signed between the National Heritage and Culture Division and the Ministry of Culture of the UAE.

Along with this, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the foreign ministries on the establishment of a joint committee for consular affairs and a memorandum of cooperation for the establishment of a UAE-Pakistan Joint Business Council.

The memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

On this occasion, Ishaq Dar said, “I welcome the distinguished guest to my home. I hope your visit is successful. We are working together on many projects. There are brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE.”

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said that he is grateful to Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar for the warm welcome and that he will further strengthen relations with Pakistan. The people of Pakistan are playing an important role in the development of the UAE.

Earlier, UAE Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Pakistan.

According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan was warmly welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar upon his arrival in Islamabad.

The honored guest Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit.

During his visit, Zayed will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss trade, investment, and energy cooperation.

In addition, the meeting will also discuss regional security and public relations for the betterment of two brotherly countries.

Previously, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Pakistan on his first official visit.
